Dina Ruiz Eastwood has enjoyed a long and varied career in broadcast and print media. Establishing herself first as a news anchor at NBC affiliates in Arizona and Central California, she moved on to show-hosting in 2000. Eastwood co-hosted the iconic television show, Candid Camera, for three years with Peter Funt (son of show creator Allen Funt.) Eastwood was the creator, executive producer and star of E! Network’s highly rated series, Mrs. Eastwood & Company. She was the long-time manager of the a cappella band, Overtone, which was featured on the show. A song-writing member of ASCAP, Eastwood wrote songs for Overtone, and was featured on the soundtrack of the Clint Eastwood movie, Invictus. She co-starred in the 2012 film, The Forger, alongside Lauren Bacall, Josh Hutcherson and Alfred Molina. Eastwood now spends time in-front-of and behind the camera, writing feature stories and a regular column for Carmel Magazine. She is currently obtaining a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing at San Jose State University and continues to be a fill-in anchor at KSBW-TV. She lives in Pebble Beach with her teenaged daughter, Morgan and enjoys cooking, golfing, watching her beloved food-related shows and doing a lot of homework. She speaks Spanish, has completed yoga teacher training, and is proficient in gymnastics. She is a member of SAG/AFTRA and ASCAP.
